Scrapbook

Donations and Drives

Youth from Mt. Horeb UMC plus Scouts from nine troops in Warren and Bridgewater collected and assembled cleaning supplies for victims of Hurricane Sandy.Throughout the year we host drives for those in need.

Outreach Dinners

As part of our continued Community Service Outreach, we prepare and serve meals in local soup kitchens. We also collect and distribute pantry items, school supplies, shoes and clothing and other necessities for area shelters. Visit our Community Outreach page for details.

Children's Time

Every Sunday, the children are called to the altar for a special children's message and prayer before heading to Sunday School.

Ringing the Bell

Each Sunday we end our worship service by ringing the church bell. Our church building represents nearly two centuries of history.

Memorial Day Parade

Mt. Horeb UMC is proud to honor its military veterans.

Holiday Pageants

On holidays Sunday School students sing as a choir and perform in special pageants.

Vacation Bible School

More than 70 children attended this summer's week-long Vacation Bible School camp. One of the many highlights: a visit from a local animal farm!

Appalachia Service Project

A team of 11 youth and adults participated in a week-long trip to West Virginia to repair homes in that area. Visit our ASP Mission Trip page for details about our next trip to Tennessee.

Family Socials

Palm Sunday

Our Palm Sunday began with a procession reenacting Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey.
